PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an etching ink transfer cylinder which is capable of cutting weight to a feasible extent while keeping required mechanical strength. SOLUTION: This etching ink transfer cylinder 10 for the flexographic press is of such a structure that a roller body 12 is retained, in a freely attachable/ detachable manner, on a continuous shaft 22 and surrounds the periphery of the continuous shaft 22 leaving a specified distance to the latter.
