SCANNING CONDITION SETTING METHOD AND X-RAY CT UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the use of a high output of an X-ray bulb while meeting a photographing time demand and a through put demand. SOLUTION: The combination of the longest scan time meeting the through put demand and an X-ray bulb current is set as scanning conditions among the combinations of the scan time and the X-ray bulb current that satisfy the dose of X rays calculated based on preliminary data obtained by preliminary scanning of a part to be taken. As compared with the case where 'the shortest time' is set for the scan time, heat generated in an X-ray bulb is lessened to reduce the scan stoppage for cleaning. This can prevent the through put from being unintentionally extended (drop in the through put) despite 'the shortest time' set for the scan time.
