PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet type image forming device comprising a platen having no change of the distance from an ink ejection opening to the platen by heat even in the case it is made from a resin such as a plastic. SOLUTION: Two platen springs 42 are fixed on a platen 40 for interposing a platen base 41. Each platen 40 is held by the platen springs 42 by being pressed against the platen base 41. The platen base 41 is fixed on a platen reinforcing member 43 made of a thin steel plate by a press process. The platen reinforcing member 43 is a member for improving the bending rigidity of the platen base 41. A platen adjusting member 44 is disposed at the center part of the platen 40 for adjusting the deflection.
