PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a box-arranging operation continuous, improve the operation efficiency, mechanize the operation and automate the operation. SOLUTION: In this self-traveling type box-arranging apparatus, a horizontally carrying part 14 for transferring an already sown nursery box A in a direction crossing a traveling direction and string and waiting the nursery box in a row is provided above a traveling apparatus 3. A vertically carrying part 20 for carrying the already sown nursery box A arranged in rows with the horizontally carrying part 14 in a traveling direction and parallel direction of the above traveling apparatus 3 and then putting the nursery box A on the floor face is provided on the rear side of the horizontally carrying part 14. The traveling apparatus 3 is constituted by arranging a pair of right and left wheels 4 in rows back and forth, and the driving of the rear wheel 4a in the wheels 4 are carriedout with a variable speed motor 5 operating by a generator 6 and subjecting the front wheels 4b in the above wheels 4 to steering operation with a steering mechanism constituted of a handle 10 and a rod.
