PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitheft case from which a storage case storing an optical or a magnetic recording medium cannot be easily taken out of a case main body. SOLUTION: The antitheft case is provided with the case main body 2 for taking in and out the storage case 1 storing a CD or the like and a locking mechanism 3 for preventing the storage case 1 stored in the case main body 2 from being taken out, and the locking mechanism 3 is formed of a storage section 4 with sections 6A and 6B to be engaged with and a slider 5 provided with engaging sections 7A and 7B moving from the other end to one end side of the storage section 4 and engaged with the sections 6A and 6B to be engaged with, and an operation tool 14 for releasing the engaged state between the sections 6A and 6B to be engaged with and the engaging sections 7A and 7B is provided.
