METHOD FOR CORRECTING IMAGE IN ELECTROSTATIC RECORDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the image in an electrostatic recorder performing electrostatic recording by emitting ions from emission holes in which an image having good gray scale reproducibility can be obtained over a long term by preventing occurrence of uneven density due to variation in the irradiation quantity of ions. SOLUTION: An original image signal is corrected depending on the record of an image signal outputted before. Furthermore, accumulated working time of a recording head or corrosive state of an electrode is detected and the original image signal is corrected based on that data.
