PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is capable of efficiently treating organic sludge, such as sewer sludge and domestic animal dung, having a high organic matter content by using a medium reflux system of subjecting the organic sludge described above to a fermentation treatment with wooden chips as media, separating the wooden chips and fermented matter from the organic sludge after the fermentation and recycling the sludge. SOLUTION: This organic fermentation treating device is successively arranged with a raw material feeding tank 1 having agitating vanes, a wooden chip mixing machine, a fermentation tank 6 which is segment to plural blocks by the agitating machine and partitions and a moisture regulation tank 2 which has a heater and a wooden chip separating tank from the fermented matter having a vibration sieving machine 10. The treating device has a wooden chip circulating and transferring device which is capable of refeeding the separated wooden chips into raw materials.
