PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a working time and improve labor effectiveness by working a workpiece W as soon as the workpiece W being positioned while preventing deterioration of working accuracy of the workpiece W. SOLUTION: This workpiece positioning device is provided with a control motor 43 (33) moving a carriage 41 to both of approaching and apart directions to a working part 13, and a control means 57 for controlling so that movement speed of the carriage 41 is decelerated once just before completion of a workpiece W positioning and then the movement of the carriage 41 is stopped by acceleration or further deceleration.
