REAGENT FOR ASSAYING TRIGLYCERIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the preservation stability of an assaying reagent for assaying the content of triglycerides in a biological sample, and further to provide a method for accurately assaying the triglycerides. SOLUTION: This assaying reagent for assaying the content of the triglycerides in the biological sample is characterized in that one of (1) glycerol kinase(GK), (2) ATP and (3) glucose is kept in a state in which the reaction system with the other two reagents is not started until a step at which the assay is hardly affected. The method for assaying the triglycerides uses the assaying reagent.
