PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively increase the volume of a fertilizer hopper and make the fertilizer hopper highly convenient in transportation, or the like, without making the fertilizer hopper as an obstacle in a rice transplanter equipped with a fertilizer hopper part of a fertilizing device in a machine body and performing fertilizing operations. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter is obtained by freely detachably fixing the fertilizer hopper (37) onto a delivering part (38) secured to the machine body and installing a fertilizer sensor (90) for detecting the fertilizer in the fertilizer hopper (37) in the delivering part (38) in the rice transplanter equipped with the fertilizer hopper part of the fertilizing device (36) for performing the fertilizer application onto the lateral sides of planting rows in the machine body.
