Clothing comprising a fabric with a silicone coating with durable soil resistance as a result of combined soil repellency and soil release properties after use and washing, said fabric comprised of yarn in which the yarns are substantially entirely coated with silicone, but in which the silicone does not completely fill the interstices between the yarns, leading to openings in between the coated yarns with a width of 100 -1000 mu m, leading to an air permeability (ISO 9237) of more than 500 l/m<2>/s.
