PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the characteristics of a piezoelectric element accurately and simply, by holding the piezoelectric element between a base member and a holder member with magnetic attraction force. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element holding part 1 is formed of a base member 3 consisting of a soft magnetic material such as magnetic SUS alloy, for example, and a cylindrical holding member 4 consisting of magnet such as metal magnet, for example. Then, the base member 3 is screwed to an oscillator, the column 6 of the base member 3 is inserted in a piezoelectric element 5 of a measuring object, a holding member 4 is coupled in the piezoelectric element 5 and the piezoelectric element 5 is held by the magnetic attraction force acting in arrow C direction between the base member 3 and the holding member 4. If the piezoelectric element 5 is vibrated with the oscillator at a specific level in arrow A direction together with the holding part 1, a voltage according to the force (product of the acceleration of vibration and the mass of the holding member 4) loading on the piezoelectric element 5 is generated in between two electrodes 5a and 5b of the piezoelectric element 5. By measuring this voltage with a volt meter 2, the force-voltage characteristic of the piezoelectric element 5 can be obtained. |
