PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide area information such as a CM that is closely related to an area and significant only to a prescribed area by transmitting a start signal instructing the timing at which a receiving side outputs data together with digital data. SOLUTION: An area code corresponding to a broadcasting object area is attached as restricted area information to area information such as a CM that is closely related to the area and broadcasted in the form of the image information of teletext broadcasting. For instance, the information A, B and C are broadcasted only to respective areas Za, Zb and Zc in the service area SA of one broadcasting station, and also the information D is broadcasted to an area Zd including the areas Zb and Zc. As for an area code, a zip code is desirably defined as reference. Then, a preparation signal for teletext CM broadcasting is broadcasted at several tens of seconds prior to the timing to broadcast a CM, and next, the signal of CM display start is broadcasted as teletext data at the timing to broadcast the CM. |
