Disclosed is a telecommunications system for setting up and operating message links, wherein links emanating from central devices (ZE) and leading to spatially distributed devices (NTR) provided with a local identity are embodied in the form of electrically conductive links; wherein devices (NTR) provided with a local identity are embodied as radio transmitting and receiving devices, and individual subscriber terminal devices (TE) which are also respectively embodied as radio transmitting and receiving devices can be connected to each NTR radio transmitting and receiving device for the duration of a message link. Several devices which are arranged locally in close proximity can be combined to form a group defined by size and operational mode. |
