PURPOSE:To remove generation of sticking in heating by a method wherein an ink layer is provided on an upper surface of a base film, and a coating layer which contains synthetic resin having a fluorinated alkyl group and a polyorganosiloxyl group is provided onto a lower surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A coating solution is prepared by dissolving or dispersing a sublimate transferrable dye and a binder resin in a suitable solvent. An ink layer is formed by coating and drying the coating solution on an upper surface of a base film of a plastic film, condenser paper, or the like. An application solution is prepared by dissolving a synthetic resin having a fluorinated alkyl group and a polyorganosiloxyl group in a suitable solvent. A synthetic resin coated layer is formed by applying and drying the application solution on an opposed surface of the base film to which the ink layer is provided, and a thermal transfer material is obtained. There is a copolymer of a fluorinated alkyl group-containing ethylene unsaturated monomer and a polyorganosiloxyl group-containing ethylene unsaturated monomer as an appropriate example of synthetic resin composing the synthetic resin-coated layer. |
