PURPOSE: A switching device for a washer is provided to operate by centrifugal force, to prevent overload of a motor in a switching device and to improve reliability by simplifying structure. CONSTITUTION: A switching device of a washing machine comprises a bracket(12) fixed on a lower portion of a frame(100); a driving motor(10) having a rotating shaft(14); a weight carrier(102) forming a carrier shaft(22) and a carrier shaft hole(24); an unevenness unit(26) inserting a spring(30) by forming a receive hole(38) on inside; a fixed plate(28) elastically pressurizing the spring by moving up and down along the inside of the receive hole; a weight(18) restored by the resilient force of the spring and moving toward outside by centrifugal force; and a wire(20). An end of the wire is connected to a lower portion of the fixed plate, and the other end of the wire is fixed on the weight by passing through the carrier shaft hole. |
