PURPOSE: A printer is provided to efficiently disperse and discharge heat generated by a carriage moving motor and a paper feed motor when a printer is continuously driven. CONSTITUTION: A carriage moving motor(10) and the paper feeding motor(40) are respectively provided to right and left sides of a frame(3) supporting a print unit to be separated from each other. The housings of the motors(10,40) are provided to contact the frame(3). A paper pressing plate(5) is supported by a boss section(10b) of each of the motors. As a result of the above structure, the heating sources motors are separated from each other and the frame(3) and the pressing plate serve as heat radiating plates so that a heat radiation effect is raised.
