PURPOSE: A financial reverse auction system through the Internet and a method for operating thereof are provided to offer a technique that each financial institute can provide customized goods to clients, to connect clients and financial institutes in real time by analyzing clients' requirements, and to guarantee the payment of funds in real time when a contract is concluded. CONSTITUTION: A site operating company(10) recruits a sales member company(20) and a purchase member company(30). If the purchase member company(30) provides the contents requested from clients(40) through the Internet(50), an auction server(31) collectively registers the data in an auction site(10) through the Internet. These contents are transferred to the sales member company(20) through the Internet. The sales member company(20) is notified for auction request contents through a web terminal(21) in real time and decides whether the company should accede to the contents. Auction requests or the contents acceding to the requests are processed through a web server(22) and a DB server(23). The final decision is executed by a host system(25).
