PURPOSE: A backbone supporting apparatus is provided which remarkably alleviates pain in the waist by preventing the weight of the bust from being excessively applied to the spine, and enables the exercise in the direction of left and right of the upper half of the body while more stably supporting the back bone. CONSTITUTION: The backbone supporting apparatus comprises a lower pressing means which covers, presses and supports the pelvis region of the human body; an upper part pressing means which covers, presses and supports the armpit region of the human body; a bust supporting means simultaneously preventing the upper pressing means from being drooped and bending the overall bust to the forwardly by linking upper and lower hinges to both sides of the lower and upper pressing means so that the lower and upper pressing means pass through both flanks of the bust in the direction of up and down; a center part pressing means which covers, presses and supports thorax at the center part of the body along with the bust supporting means; and a side part variable means enabling free exercise of the bust of the dorsal vertebra region in the left and right direction by being installed at the bust supporting means.
