PURPOSE: A system and method for retrieving and analyzing data is provided to efficiently extract, retrieve, download, analyze and manage numerous data freely provided on the Internet and to construct relevant databases. CONSTITUTION: A user registers as a client in a provider server that provides a method to search a free patent database and to load and analyze necessary data(s100). After the client registration, the user installs an installation program, provided from the server, in a client PC(s200). Whenever the user drives the program, the user inputs an intrinsic ID granted from the server and receives authentication(s300). The user accesses the free patent database(s400). The user extracts and downloads data from the free patent database(s500). The user loads the downloaded data to an analysis database(s600). The user retrieves and checks the data loaded to the analysis database(s700). The user analyzes and visualizes the checked data(s800).
