PURPOSE: A saw plate of a sewing machine in which a needle hole is formed in the shape of long hole at the extending part is provided, which is capable of transferring fabric more exactly without sliding by maximizing the contact area of a saw plate. CONSTITUTION: This sewing machine comprises forming a plurality of needle holes(10), a penetrating hole(11) inserted by a sawtooth(20) divided into a plurality of scraps, an auxiliary penetrating hole(12) formed at the front end of the penetrating hole and a saw plate(2) formed by the sawtooth on a sliding plate(1); and forming an extending part at the front end part of the sawtooth, wherein a needle hole(22) is formed at the extending part.
