摘要 PURPOSE: A fluorescent screen and method for manufacturing the same is provided to reduce loss of electron beam passed through the shadow mask and achieve an increased luminance by forming a high reflectivity metallic reflecting film onto the black matrix. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent screen comprises a black matrix(302) formed at the inner surface of a panel(300) of CRT; the first metallic reflecting film(303) formed onto the black matrix, and which has a high reflectivity of 70% or higher; fluorescent films(304R,304G,304B) formed between first metallic reflecting films; and the second metallic reflecting film(305) formed onto the first metallic reflecting film and the fluorescent film. A method comprises the first step of forming a photoresist film at the inner surface of a panel of CRT; the second step of forming a black matrix by depositing black matrix material at the inner surface of the panel and the photoresist film, drying the resultant structure; the third step of forming the first metallic reflecting film having a high reflectivity onto the black matrix; the fourth step of forming the black matrix and the first metallic reflecting film by etching the black matrix and the first metallic reflecting film; the fifth step of forming a fluorescent film between first metallic reflecting films; and the sixth step of forming the second metallic reflecting film onto the first metallic reflecting film and the fluorescent film.
