PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compacting roller with a vibrating mechanism capable of moving a roll to the position next the window of a high structure to roll a road surface and increasing the variation of the vibrating mechanism according to various needs. SOLUTION: A travel motor 8 has a hollow structure with a through hole 16. A vibration motor 7 is arranged on the vehicle body 1 side across the travel motor 8, and a vibrating mechanism 6 is arranged on the roll 5 side. The vibration exciting shaft 33 of the vibrating mechanism 6 or a drive shaft for driving the vibrating mechanism is inserted into the through hole 16 of the travel motor 8 and is connected to the vibration motor 7 in this compacting roller.
