摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosure shield for a rotor enclosure in a generator including a rotor and a stator. SOLUTION: A conductive enclosure shield (40) is allocated between a rotor enclosure (10) and a rotor winding assembly (34). A shield reduces the shearing load in the lateral direction generated within uneven centrifugal force, in the radial direction in the generator rotor and also adequately shields magnetism for a field winding. The shield is provided with a ventilation hole (42) for enabling exhaustion of ventilation gas and it is also possible to provide a low protuberant portion for assisting positioning of an enclosure ring in the axial direction. Moreover, the enclosure shield is useful, with regard to increase rigidity in the axial direction of the rotor.
