PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor having a good response characteristic up to a high concentration range and also having low blank response and high stability during preservation. SOLUTION: The biosensor includes an electrode system including a working electrode and a counter electrode which constitute an electrochemical measuring system on contact with a sample solution supplied thereto, an electrically insulating support for supporting the electrode system, a first reagent layer formed on the working electrode, and a second reagent layer formed on the counter electrode. The first reagent layer is composed chiefly of enzymes and the second reagent layer is composed chiefly of electron transfer bodies. |
