PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To yield delicate conditions for photographing even if photographing is performed by using a strobe and to readily set the photographing conditions. SOLUTION: An electronic camera 1 for photographing an object by a semiconductor image pickup element 5 is provided with an auxiliary light irradiation means for irradiating the object with auxiliary light, an input processing means receiving the designation input of an object main part area and an object background area on the image of preliminary photographing and receiving the correction input of a photographing condition, when the preliminary photographing is performed to the object, a simulation means 61 simulating the object main part area and the object background area based on the result of preliminary photographing and a correction photographing condition received by the input processing means and obtaining the images of the respective areas and display means 14 and 41 for displaying the preliminarily photographed image or a simulation result image. |
