PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device which can generate an extremely short optical pulse by using a monocrystalline fiber waveguide for a gain medium. SOLUTION: The laser device has a monocrystalline fiber 11, grazing incidence spherical mirror 14, and dispersion compensated medium 12 in a resonator. The dispersion compensated medium 12 has, in its end face, a Brewster angle against an optical path. Thereby, astigmatisnn caused by the grazing incidence spherical mirror 14 can be cancelled by that caused by the Brewster angle of the end face of the dispersion compensated medium 12. |
