PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device, a document management method and a recording medium for enabling plural persons to edit one document and guaranteeing locking by an editor. SOLUTION: When the updating of the document is started, user identification information for identifying the user, document identification information for identifying the document whose updating is started and under-updating indication information are held. When the updating of the document is completed, the document identification information for identifying the document whose updating is completed and updating completion indication information are held for the document. When the under-updating indication information is received from a prescribed user, the updating by the user other than the user performing the updating is inhibited for the document. When the updating completion indication information is received from the prescribed user, the updating is permitted for the user other than the user who performed the updating until then for the document whose updating is completed. |
