PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that appearance or lighting condition of a conventional construction of a signal light for a vehicle becomes commonplace and it is difficult to differentiate a vehicle design from others. SOLUTION: A signal light for a vehicle 1 comprises a thick lens 4a forming at least one convex lens shape, a light source 2 arranged outside of an effective diameter of the thick lens 4a, at least one reflector 3 of a parabolic or an elliptic or their combined shape having a focus in the vicinity of the light source 2 and makes reflected light incident on the thick lens 4a, and an inner hood 5 of generally cylindrical shape along an outer periphery of the Chick lens 4 and extended toward the reflector 3 with suitable length. The signal light for a vehicle 1 of a novel appearance in a lighting condition and a nonlighting condition is provided. |
