PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure prevention of wrongassembly of a battery terminal. SOLUTION: Fitting portions 10a, 10b are recessed around a battery B including electrode portions 11a, 11b and recessed portions 14a, 14b, 23a, 23b are formed on the sidewall faces thereof. The recessed portions 14a, 14b, 23a, 23b are symmetrically arranged at right and left fitting portions 10a, 10b. Right-and- left symmetrical identifying members 19a, 19b are protruded from the ends of the terminals 15a, 15b. If a correspondence relationship is correct, the identifying members 19a, 19b are fitted to the recessed portions 14a, 14b, 23a, 23b to permit the assembly of the terminals on the electrode portions 11a, 11b. However, if the correspondence relationship is wrong, the identifying members 19a, 19b are not fitted to the recessed portions 14a, 14b, 23a, 23b, to cause interference with the upper face of the battery B, which results in assembly being disabled. |
