DRIVER CONTROL METHOD AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver control method capable of discriminating automatically the kind of a driver and capable of outputting a control signal corresponding to the kind of the driver and a display device using the same method. SOLUTION: This method has drivers 11 controlling the operation of a display part, a decision signal output means outputting decision signals different for every kind of the driver 11, a control signal generating means 64 generating control signals different for every kind of the driver 11 and a control signal selecting means 66 which discriminates the kind of the driver corresponding to the decision signal and selects a control signal driving the driver of the kind to output it.
