<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which can deal flexibly with transmission characteristic and also can normally demodulate the received signals. SOLUTION: This digital broadcast receiver 10 includes a fast-Fourier transform(FFT) circuit 20 which performs the FFT processing on the received signals in accordance with the time window of FFT (FFT window), that is given from an FFT window setting circuit 24. In a setting mode, an error correction circuit 32 detects the numerical value of bit error rate from the decoding result of a Viterbi demodulation circuit 32a and this numerical value of the bit error rate is displayed on a monitor 38. An operator, etc., can instruct the circuit 24 to switch the position of FFT window, by means of a switch 26 while looking at the numeric value of bit error rate. Thus, the FFT window can be set at a position where the bit error rate is minimized. In other words, the FFT window can be set at the optimum position in either the front or the rear ghost cases.</p> |
