PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily deform a plate-shaped vacuum heat insulator, and to obtain a small-sized and high-efficient heat insulating box. SOLUTION: This deforming method for a vacuum heat insulator which puts a thermoplastic open-cell rigid foam molded element in a bag element made of a gas barrier film as a core material, draws a vacuum in the interior of the bag element, seals to produce a vacuum heat insulator, heats the vacuum heat insulator to be softened and deformed, and cools to harden the vacuum heat insulator; and a freezing/refrigerating container is made from a peltier element.
