METHOD AND CIRCUIT FOR ERROR CORRECTION PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correct signal even if a data signal has missing and overlapping. SOLUTION: A first processing for correcting the error in a data signal by using an added ECC(Error Correcting Code) without inserting dummy data or deleting data into block data constituted of a plurality of words, a second processing for inserting dummy data of one word into the different positions of block data and correcting the error and a third processing for deleting data of one word from the different positions of block data and correcting the error are performed. A processing result where error correction is correctly completed is selected and outputted on the basis of a discrimination result with respect to in which processing error correction is correctly completed among the first to third processings. The error correction processing timing of next block data is adjusted according to the discrimination result with respect to in which processing error correction is correctly completed.
