PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a temperature sensor by eliminating the need for a thick roller shell. SOLUTION: A roller shell 3 is composed by fixing a sub-roller 2 to one end part of a roller body 1. A plurality of jacket rooms 15, one end parts of which are communicated with a jacket room 14 of the roller body 1 and another end parts are closed, are installed at the thick part of the sub-roller 2. A small hole, through which a temperature sensor is inserted, extending with the length covering the jacket room of the adjacent sub-roller but not covering the joining part of the jacket room of the roller body and the jacket room of the sub-roller, is formed at one surface side of the thick part of the sub-roller 2.
