PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change the characteristic impedance of a bus system for optimizing the transmission characteristics according to the attachment and detachment of an expansion memory for storing image data by making a connector for mounting the expansion memory always available in a bus system. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with image processing means SCR/PRR, a control means 206 for performing image processing by controlling the image processing means, connectors CN311 and CN312 for mounting expansion memories 228 and 229 for storing image data related with the image processing, bus lines PA, PB/PC/PD, and PE having a plurality of characteristic impedances A and B to which the connectors are connected, means 223A/223 for detecting extended memory capacity 228 and 229 connected to the bus lines, and selecting means DS, GS, GS1, and GS2 for setting one of the plurality of characteristic impedances A and B to the bus lines corresponding to the detected expansion memory capacity.
