PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watertight material composition for fabricating a watertight insulated cable by a simple equipment that facilitates to fill the gaps between conductors and between conductor and insulator as well as that is superior in ablating property from conductors, and that maintains a uniform adhesive force between the conductors and insulator together with watertight stability for a prolonged time even after a mechanical deformation. SOLUTION: The watertight composition consists of a mixture of 100 pts.wt. per weight of an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer, 0.2 to 5.0 pts.wt. of a maleic anhydride copolymer and 10 to 50 pts.wt. of a terpene copolymer together with addition of silane crosslinker. |
