PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a connector for IC cards with a shutter mechanism, and provide a structure wherein the thin-typed connector IC cards can be aimed at as the strength of a shutter member is maintained, and wherein an insertion of an IC card can be easily made as well. SOLUTION: This structure has a hosing 1 wherein a plurality of connector terminals 2 are arranged, a guide frame 9 having a guide groove 9a which is arranged opposed to both the side parts of this housing 1 and wherein an IC card 3 which is connected with the connector terminal 12 is mounted and retained, an insertion port 10e which is arranged in the guide frame 9 and wherein the IC card 3 is inserted, and the shutter member 11 which opens and closes this insertion port 10e. On the face side of the shutter member 11, a sliced meat-shaped notched concave part 11b which can prevent contacting with a swelling part 3b which is swelled out on the front or rear surface of the IC card 3b when the IC card 3 is mounted on the insertion port 10e, is formed. |
