<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional data transmission system employing a protocol converter that has deteriorated reply performance because analysis processing is performed always even for a simple communication processing such as data transmission/reception and that has targetted only the serial communication for an interface of a 2nd communication channel. SOLUTION: Two communication connections 502, 503 are prepared for a transmission channel (1st communication channel) so as to divide communication connections into a communication connection for a control instruction processing and a communication connection for a data transmission/reception processing. A relay unit 200 (2nd computer) omits analysis processing of information received from the communication connection 503 for the data transmission reception. Thus, the entire processing performance of the relay unit 200 and the data transmission system can be enhanced. Furthermore, a communication interface between a facility unit 300 and the relay unit 200 is not restricted and a facility coordination processing section 202 in correspondence to a connected facility is prepared so as to be compatible with a multi-protocol.</p> |
