SOLUTION: The storage type hot water supply apparatus arranged to supply hot water heated by a heat source K to a hot water storage tank 8 comprises a control means 36 executing an operation for storing hot water in the hot water storage tank 8 and a water filling operation for supplying hot water to a bathtub 2. The control means 36 is arranged to supply hot water heated by the heat source K to the bathtub 2 without storing it in the hot water storage tank 8 at the time of water filling operation, and to supply hot water heated by the heat source K to the hot water storage tank 8 at the time of hot water storage operation.
