PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously obtain measurement data using an analyzer in which a sample solution is oxidized and measured; and provide a liquid dropping device capable of supplying the sample solution in the form of droplets of trace amounts and quickly replacing the solution, and an oxidation device capable of oxidizing the sample solution in a short time. SOLUTION: Droplets of trace amounts are intermittently supplied to a combustion pipe 31 from the liquid dropping device which includes a nozzle 1 for causing the sample solution to flow out; a pump 6 for continuously supplying the sample solution to the nozzle 1; a shield 11 located below the nozzle 1 and having a slit 12 therein; and a motor 14 for driving the shield 11, with the shield 11 driven by the motor 14 to limit the time during which the slit 12 in the shield 11 is located immediately below the end of the nozzle 1. In the combustion pipe 31, the sample solution is combusted into a sample gas. The sample gas is analyzed at an analysis part 42.
