PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry device capable of selectively controlling a controlled member nearest a user when the user nears an automobile and performs an exchange between a request signal and an answer signal. SOLUTION: This keyless entry device comprises an on-vehicle transmitter and receiver 10 mounted on an automobile and a portable transmitter and receiver. The on-vehicle transmitter an receiver 10 comprises a plurality of antennas 3F1, 3F2, 3B, 3R1, 3R2 installed closely to each controlled member of the automobile and a plurality of transmission parts 2T1 to 2T5 connected to the plurality of antennas 3F1, 3F2, 3B, 3R1, 3R2 and transmitting request signals with an ID specific to each antenna. A plurality of transmission parts 2T1 to 2T5 intermittently transmit the request signals from the corresponding antennas 3F1, 3F2, 3B, 3R1, 3R2. The portable transmitter and receiver transmits answer signals for controlling the controlled members corresponding to the transmission parts 2T1 to 2T5 transmitting the request signals therefrom when receiving either of the transmitted request signals. |
