PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reception and payment processing by using an existent machine even when bills of a new denomination are issued. SOLUTION: A storage-by-denomination part while comprising a 1,000-yen bill storage part 71 which stores only 1,000-yen bills, a 10,000-yen bill storage part 73 which stores only 10,000-yen bills, and a mixed bill storage part 72 which stores 5,000-yen bills and 2,000-yen bills as new bills together in a mixed state has a storage part 16 which stores a payment amount and a control part 17 which pays one bill out of the mixed bill storage part 72 first and discriminates its denomination by the discrimination part 6 when the payment amount is larger than 1,000 and less than 10,000 yen, compares the amount corresponding to the discriminated denomination with the payment amount stored in the storage part 16, and judges whether or not the remaining money is paid from the mixed bill storage part again or from the 1, 000-yen bill storage part 71 when there is still the remaining money to be paid to pay the money. |
