PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the electronic commercial transaction which provides convenience and high reliability for the seller and buyer of merchandise. SOLUTION: An electronic commercial transaction management server 1 registers the requested merchandise to a merchandise information data base 4 when merchandise registration is requested from PCes 10 and 11, presents the storage contents of the merchandise information data base 4 to the PCes 10 and 11 when merchandise retrieval is requested from the PCes 10 and 11 and transmits purchase money amount information, buyer customer information and seller customer information to an account settlement management server 20 when merchandise purchase is requested from the PCes 10 and 11. Thereafter, in the case that account settlement completion is notified from the account settlement management server 20, the account settlement completion is notified to the buyer and the request of merchandise delivery is notified to the seller. In the case that account settlement incapability is notified from the account settlement management server 20, the account settlement incapability is notified to the buyer.
