PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which enables enlargement of the connecting portions of commutator pieces and to increase the diameter of armature windings for enhanced output and efficiency. SOLUTION: In the motor, a plurality of brushes 74 are slid on the commutator 78a, comprising the plurality of the commutator pieces 79a having the connecting portions 80a connected with the ends of the plurality of the armature windings 77a, respectively. The commutator 78a is so constituted that its diameter in proximity to the connecting portions 80a is larger than the diameter of its portions, on which the brushes 74 are slid. |
