PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiant energy shielding structure capable of efficiently displaying the effect preventing a temperature rising and, at the same time, being suitably used for reform work. SOLUTION: Ceiling boards 19 and 20 are mainly constituted of gypsum plasterboards to constitute a plate part, and aluminum foils 21 and 22 as sheet- like bodies made in advance are respectively stuck on the plate part with adhesives. Adhesive faces 21a and 22a are provided on one side face. An aluminum foil tape 23 as a longer sheet-like body having a specific width is spanned between the aluminum foils 21 and 22 along a gap and is stuck on in a construction site to continue on by closing the gap. The aluminum foils 21 and 22 for shielding the radiant energy and the aluminum foil tape 23 are provided so as to locate on the rear side of an interior facing cloth material 24 to decrease the transfer of the radiant energey incident from the outside of a house to the inside of the house.
