PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding structural body and a welding execution method capable of increasing resistance to high triaxial stress occurring in the bottom of a scallop and dactile fracture caused by equivalent plastic strain and resistance force to the dactile fracture caused by high tensile stress in the direction of the axis of member occurring in the bottom of the scallop when large load is applied to a steel framed building structure by big earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: The welding structural body is constituted of an H-shaped steel having the scallop in a joint section manufactured by rolling or welding assembly of steel plates, a slit in the diretion of the axis of member having the width smaller than the thickness of a web is formed in the bottom of the scallop in a flange of the H-shaped steel. The welding execution method with other members is so constituted that the scallop is provided in the joint section of the H-shaped steel showing an H-shaped section manufactured by the welding assembly, and the welding execution method is constituted by providing the slit in the direction of the axis of member having the width smaller than the thickness in the bottom of the scallop in the flange of the H-shaped steel.
