PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a radiation image conversion panel of uniform phophor density and small luminous unevenness. SOLUTION: A phosphor layer is formed by applying a coating solution on a supporting body and drying it. The coating solution is composed of at least stimulable phosphor, binding agent, and mixed solvent of low boiling point solvent with 0.6 mPa.s or less of viscosity and high boiling point solvent with more than 0.6 mPa.s of viscosity differing 10 deg.C or more in boiling point therebetween.
