PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister mounting structure capable of avoiding the damage to canister by a collision and having a high degree of freedom on the installation layout of an outfit member fitted to a rear overhang part. SOLUTION: This canister mounting structure is provided with a front suspending member 10 and a rear suspending member 19 fitting the canister 12 to a rear side frame 14 on a vehicle body bottom part at least at two front and rear positions. The front suspending member 10 is molded by folding a metal member, and the front end part of the canister 12 is moved downward by developing and extending the front suspending member 10. The front suspending member 10 has a developed length allowing forward movement of the canister 12 while avoiding the contact with the outfit member of various kinds installed at the front.
