PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the improvement of uniformity of sensitivity for all pixels from a viewpoint of improving a color filter in image picking up with a solid- state image pickup element such as a CCD(charge coupled device). SOLUTION: The composition for the color filter and the color filter formed out of it, that a matter to be applied, obtained from the composition containing pigments, has a color density distribution of which the frequency corresponding to <=-10% of relative color density is <0.3% of overall frequencies and the frequency corresponding to -5 to +5% of the relative color density is >=95% of the overall frequencies, are provided. |
